So as soon as I woke up Cathy told me they called again with another job!
So I am booked for the 3rd and 4th, as a receptionist at a law firm for 10 dollars an hour! 8:30-5!
And she is sending my resume to a company along with another girls and they are going to pick who they want to work from the 5th till the 20th (Mon-Friday). So if I get that I'll be booked for 3 weeks straight! It pays like 10.50 or something...
So I guess it wasn't the end of the world when I turned down the first offer! So I am technically booked for only 2 days right now, but the fact that I am working at all thrills me! Hey, I haven't been in this country a month yet and I already have a job, you gotta admit, thats pretty damn good! I know its not full time, but its a start! (especially since I thought I would be out of work completely for a number of months at first) ^^ WISH ME LUCK ON TUESDAY!!

Things have been going great since my last update. Everything has been going very smoothly. I am getting a lot of things done and I think I will start looking for work very shortly.
Last Thursday, I got my SIN (Social Insurance Number, basically SSN), so I am good to start working. I have to update my resume, but I think I will start looking by next Monday for sure, if not sooner. And then I got my driver's license - I didn't even have to take a test, they just looked at my California license and saw that I had it for more then two years, and gave me a Canadian one! Oh, I also opened up a checking account! Canadian debit cards are weird, they don't even have your name on them! Just the number and no credit link!
Friday through Sunday, Sam had off work so I spent the entire time with him, being clingy! We went to the gym and I got a library card and checked out lots of comic books to read while he is at work. We went for lots of nice little walks and watched anime. Saturday night, we went to Bubble Tea with his friend, Tailor and his wife, Rebecca, so that was nice.
And then today Adrienne (THANKS YOU AGAIN!!!) drove me to get my OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan, or something like that) and it went well, I filled out the forms and got my picture taken, but I don't actually get my insurance for 3 months, so I better not get sick! Afterwards, we went shopping and got some very yummy food! And it was lots of fun, now I think I will spend the rest of the day unpacking/cleaning the mess I made in Sam's room! =P

Hello! Here I am, in Sam's room, touching his things and moving his stuff around and throwing away his most important and valuable collectibles to make room for my pictures and other such annoying things to piss him off!
I made it to Ottawa, it was easy to go through customs, I thought it would take an hour, but I just signed a paper and they gave me a Canadian-n00b manual and sent me to the guys who checked my bags and that was easy, but as I was leaving I set off an alarm, but they didn't care.
OH! And when I was in Chicago, I got paged to the United Airlines desk so they could ask me where I lived... and I was like... right now I DON'T KNOW! I said, yesterday I lived in the US, but tomorrow I will live in Canada!! ^^ Very exciting!
Sam was late picking me up, but he got me a dozen red roses, so I guess it all balances out! And his Dad then took us to get lunch and then Sam went to work and I took a long nap and took a shower and hung out with Sam's mom for a bit.
I can start working as soon as I get a Social Insurance Number, which I will call about tomorrow, because they gave me a temporary permanent card, so thats excited. I hear they issue the SIN really quickly, so I hope to start looking for a job in a few weeks, and tomorrow I want to go get a bank account! ^^ Very exciting!
I am going to try to update more as I want to keep in contact with everyone better!

Hello!
As I am sure you all know, I got my immigration visa and am preparing for my final move to Ottawa!
But as you may not know... I GOT MY PLANE TICKET!! ^^
I will be leaving on June 5th to go to Ottawa to stay! I am most excited! Just in time for my first anniversary which is one month after that on July 5th! Most exciting! Anyways, just wanted to let you know!

Hello Everyone,
I am alright. Work has been slow, but I think its starting to pick up a little, which is good because Sam wants to come out for Christmas, and we can't do it if we are broke. Tho we probably shouldn't do it at all and save money for when I move out there, but we are dumb and in love and want to be together! (Awww)
I'm working a half day at Phelan today, hence why Im not at work right now. I dont start till Noon.
Sam sent me the first volume of Return to the Labyrinth, its such crap!! Hehehehe, but it was good of him to get it for me, as it is right up my ally. Like... the concept is good, its just they make it too much like the movie. And the art is crap. And you totally know that stupid "goblin" is just a human with a mask on!! >.< Hehehehe, but I am happy that mah baby knows me well enough to have gotten it for me!!! =) If he hadnt I would have bought it myself anyways! ^^
And he also got me the first volume of Peach Girl: Sae's story! OHHH EEEMMM GEEEE!! I LOVE IT!!!!! Its sooo great. I need the next volume now!! >.< Its soo good. I mean its not perfect, like I dont like how much Momo and the guy she ended up with show up to give advice. But I LOVE the model guy Sae likes and I LOVE the dorky monkey boy that likes her! And the PUPPY IS ADORABLE!!!! ^^ Much Happiness! Thank you Sam!!!
I have not been up to much lately, I am sooo broke! I have not been paid since July!! I get paid soon, but it will be a very small check because of it being from the first two weeks of school only and I didnt get much work then. But I will be happy to get it.
And Immigration is going well. I got all my paperwork to Sam, and he said he is all done with his stuff (did you get the pictures done yet?? the money orders??) And as soon as our marriage certificate gets there... we can get this thing started, yo!
And I guess thats about it! Oh, I totally burnt my bread for my sandwich.

Well, my time of fun under the sun has ended! No more spending lazy afternoons (at least during the week) swimming at Lauries or going down to see David (which was awesome and much fun). Tomorrow I have to go to work! T_________T
I am subbing for a 5th grade class at Phelan Elementry tomorrow and Friday, which wouldn't be a big deal... until you consider that ITS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL TOMORROW!! Pray for Heidi! T_T
All I know is that I'm not going to be sucked into a long term subbing position here, I'm doing two days then I'm out of there. Long term subbing is a lot of extra work, and not a lot of extra pay (and extra 75 dollars a week, and I will have all the responsiblities of a regular teacher: grading, long term disapline problems, lesson planning, all that random crap you gotta do, ect ect). Not to mention that, I do suck at my job, I'll admit it. I try my best, but its tough. And its hard going to work every day knowing your going to fuck it up. I know its good money, so I keep going back, but it really takes it out of you. Its not fair to the kids having me try to teach them for a month.

In other news, I have a lot of stuff to do for immigration too. A lot of stress.
To Summarize: I'm having a very bad day, and tomorrow will be worst.
